Generali: UBS still a buyer.

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS has looked at the Generali case this morning, with the Italian insurer, according to certain news agencies, possibly considering selling its German subsidiary Generali Leben.

Meanwhile, analysts maintain their buy rating on the stock, in addition to their 12-month target price of 15.7 euros.

Indeed, UBS underlines that news agencies report that the Italian insurer, which is redefining its geographical scope, could sell its Life business in Germany, which is a subsidiary that does not seem to be in particularly good shape.

What is Generali Leben worth? By retaining its available assets (3.3 billion euros) and its Solvency II ratio of 189%, UBS estimates that it is worth between 700 million and 900 million euros. As its solvency ratio is higher, the group would benefit from this.
