Linde: 1 billion dollar bond issue
(CercleFinance.com) - Linde announced on Tuesday that it intends to issue a billion dollar bond, in two tranches, through its US subsidiary Praxair.
The industrial gas specialist said that the bond issue will be launched in two tranches of respectively 700 and 300 million dollars each, with maturities of 10 and 25 years.
The respective maturity dates of these two bond tranches have been set in August 2030 and August 2050, with coupons of 1.1% and 2.2% respectively.
Linde says it wants to use the funds from the offer, which is expected to close on 10 August, to refinance part of its debt or even to finance general corporate needs.
