Linde: starts up Texas plants to supply Celanese
(CercleFinance.com) - UK-based engineering giant Linde said on Tuesday that it has started up two plants in Texas to supply industrial gases to chemical company Celanese.
The facility found in Clear Lake and the new air separation unit in LaPorte will supply oxygen, nitrogen and carbon monoxide to Celanese under a long-term agreement, and hydrogen to other clients via Linde's US Gulf Coast pipeline system.
