Linde: starts up new plant in Shanghai
(CercleFinance.com) - Linde has started production at a new air separation plant in Shanghai, China, supplying nitrogen, high-purity oxygen and argon to local chipmaker Huali Microelectronics.
The new plant includes a compressed dry air system and a high-purity nitrogen generator that has been specially designed to meet demand from electronics and semiconductor clients, Linde said.
The UK-based industrial gas maker will also supply hydrogen and helium to Huali, whose products are used in mobile phones, consumer electronics, smart cards and wearable electronic devices.
