Linde: completes merger squeeze-out for 'old' Linde
(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial gas giant Linde plc, which was created from the merger of Germany's Linde AG and US rival Praxair, has completed the squeeze-out of all the minority shares of Linde AG, the company said on Monday.
The cash merger squeeze-out has been made for a cash consideration of 189.46 euros for each share of the "old" Linde, representing a total payment of 2.8 billion euros.
The trading of Linde AG shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and other German exchanges is expected to be discontinued today.
