Linde: raises squeeze-out offer for old shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Linde said that it has raised the cash compensation to be paid as part of the planned cash merger squeeze-out on its old Linde AG shares by 1.
22 euro, to 189.46 euros per share.
The German industrial gas maker said that this adjustment is based on current price assessments made for the expected divestments required after the merger with US rival Praxair.
Auditors have confirmed that the increase in cash compensation is adequate, Linde said.
The effectiveness of the cash merger squeeze-out is still subject to a vote at the Linde AG shareholders' meeting on 12 December, it added.
