Ryanair: invests $3.3bn in 'Summer 2023' schedule

(CercleFinance.com) - Ryanair yesterday presented its largest summer program to and from Dublin, with a total of 130 routes, including 14 new destinations such as Asturias and Castellon in Spain, Kos and Zakynthos in Greece, as well as cities such as Stockholm, Genoa and Leipzig.


The Dublin Summer '23 program required an investment of $3.3bn and is based on 33 aircraft based in the Irish capital, including 16 B737 'Gamechanger' aircraft (compared to 11 previously), which are presented as "more environmentally efficient, carrying 4% more passengers, consuming 16% less fuel and, above all, generating 40% less noise.

The company is planning over 2,000 weekly flights to/from Dublin, with a 10% increase in traffic compared to summer 22. The program includes flights to Berlin (24 weekly flights), Krakow (18 weekly flights), Lisbon (32 weekly flights), Dubrovnik (8 weekly flights), Lanzarote (28 weekly flights) and Santorini (4 weekly flights).
