Ryanair: interim earnings down, but traffic up

(CercleFinance.com) - Ryanair has unveiled H1 2018/2019 (to end-September), net income that is down 7%, to 1.
2 billion euros, with a net margin down 4 points at 25%.

However, the low-cost Irish airline's revenues increased by 8% to nearly 4.8 billion euros, with traffic up 6% to 76.6 million passengers.

Remember that this period was hit by strike action from some of its staff, which grounded dozens of flights.

For the current full year, Ryanair expects earnings, excluding Laudamotion, of between 1.1 billion and 1.2 billion euros, with passenger traffic up 6% at 138 million people.
