Medtronic: Q3 net income up 10%

At slightly over 7.5 billion dollars, the medical equipment supplier's revenues increased 2.4% as reported and were up 4.4% in organic terms.
Regarding its forecasts, Medtronic now expects organic sales growth of around 5.25%-5.5% (vs. 5% to 5.5% to date), with EPS of between 5.14 dollars and 5.16 dollars (against 5.10 dollars to 5.15 dollars previously).
