In addition to capital investments, Spotlight will provide unprecedented access to Accenture's technology expertise and client companies.
Startups will co-innovate with Accenture in its centres, labs and liquid studios, working with experts to adapt their solutions to the enterprise market and develop faster and more efficiently.
Tom Lounibos, managing director, Accenture Ventures and Project Spotlight lead said, "This initiative is a completely new way of approaching venture capital".
The aim is to help "highlight promising startups" by integrating them into Accenture's innovation network and helping them customise, refine and develop their solutions for maximum impact.
