Accenture: buys Canadian IT consulting firm Avenai
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture said on Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire Avenai, a Canadian consulting and technology services firm.
Since its establishment in 2012, Avenai has built a "strong reputation" with government and commercial clients in the Ottawa and Toronto regions, growing from four to more than 70 employees, the IT giant said in a statement.
Yesterday, Accenture said it had agreed to acquire industrial operations consulting firm Myrtle.
This firm headquartered in Houston has clients in sectors such as consumer products, life sciences, chemicals, mining and other heavy manufacturing industries, Accenture said.
In both cases, financial terms were not disclosed.
