Accenture: to design Expo 2025 master plan
(CercleFinance.com) - As part of the World Expo to be held in Osaka, Japan, between April and October 2025, Accenture has been chosen to develop a master plan for Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
Accenture's work, which should be complete by June 2021, includes developing a general ICT platform, a smart services plan, advising on the creation of 3-D building information models, and technology experiments.
The programme will bring to life the Expo's theme: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. The ambition is to create the foundations for Society 5.0, in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.
