Accenture: buys US AI firm Clarity Insights
(CercleFinance.com) - Consulting giant Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Clarity Insights, a US-based data consultancy which specialises in deep data, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Chicago, Clarity Insights provides data science and engineering capabilities for large businesses, particularly in the healthcare, financial services and insurance sectors.
The move comes as Accenture's research has recently highlighted that 87% of healthcare executives said they struggle to scale AI across their business.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Accenture said that the acquisition will add nearly 350 employees to its workforce.
