Accenture: acquires a Mexican design firm
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Accenture announced the acquisition of Insitum, a Mexican firm that specialises in design and strategic research, which has a "human" approach, to strengthen its activities in Latin America.
In a statement, the US consulting giant explains that the deal will enable Fjord, its design and innovation studio with which Insitum is about to merge, to get a foothold in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
Founded in 2003 in Mexico, Insitum currently employs more than 200 designers, researchers and strategists in its studios based in Barcelona, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Lima and Sao Paulo, in addition to Mexico City.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
