Accenture: edges up annual EPS target range
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has tightened its targets for fiscal year 2018-19, now aiming to report adjusted EPS of between 7.
01 dollars and 7.25 dollars, against 6.98 dollars to 7.25 dollars previously, with revenue that is up by 6% to 8% in local currencies, against a previous forecast range of 5% to 8%.
For its first accounting quarter, the consulting and outsourcing giant reported EPS that is up 9% at 1.96 dollars, 10 cents above the consensus, for a 20 basis point improvement in its operating margin to 15.4%.
Revenue reached 10.61 billion dollars, up 7% as reported and up 9.5% in local currencies, close to the top of its target range of 10.35 billion to 10.65 billion dollars.
