Accenture: manages cloud transformation for Carlsberg
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has helped Danish brewer Carlsberg transition its information technology infrastructure to the public cloud, the IT and consulting group said on Wednesday.
Accenture has worked with Avanade, a provider of digital and cloud services, in addition to Microsoft and SAP, to help the company transition its core infrastructure and business-critical applications to the Microsoft Azure public cloud in under six months.
The transition covered 600 servers and 200 applications that serve more than 10,000 employees, including the whole SAP application suite.
This transformation is part of Carlsberg's "SAIL 22" corporate strategy to accelerate growth and improve margins.
