InterContinental Hotels: share down after H1 results
(CercleFinance.com) - The InterContinental Hotels Group share is down about 1% in London this morning, after the group announced H1 2019 adjusted EPS of 1.
432 dollar, and underlying operating profit of 410 million dollars, down 1%.
While these results are broadly in line with expectations, its revenues, which rose by 12% to 1,012 million dollars, fell 4% short of Oddo BHF's forecast, with RevPAR (income per available room) almost flat.
The British hotel chain is offering an interim dividend of 0.399 dollar per share, up 10% y-o-y, and is leaving its outlook for the current year unchanged.
