InterContinental Hotels: share up after 2018 results

5% in London today, after the group announced a 10% increase in its dividend per share to 114.4 cents for 2018, for underlying EPS that is up 19% at 290.5 cents.
The luxury hotel chain saw its underlying operating profit grow 6% to 805 million dollars, with similar growth in revenue to over 1.8 billion dollars and revenue per available room (RevPar) that is up 2.5%.
"The fundamentals of our business remain strong, and while there are macro-economic and geopolitical uncertainties in some markets, we are confident in the year ahead," said CEO Keith Barr.
