Vodafone: Dutch regulator fines 3.1 million euros

(CercleFinance.com) - The Netherlands' telecoms regulator ACM said it would fine Vodafone 3.
1 million euros for customer information failures, including failing to present the one-off costs of its deals.

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) said it has imposed fine on Vodafone, but also KPN, Tele2, and T-Mobile for displaying "incorrect" and "incomplete" information about their offerings on their websites for consumers.

The regulator in particular criticized Vodafone for making its deals look cheaper than they actually were.

Under the decision, KPN has been fined 3.5 million euros, Tele2 2.7 million euros and T-Mobile 3.9 million euros.
