Vodafone: Q3 sales down 6.8%
(CercleFinance.com) - Vodafone has reported Q3 2018-19 sales of 11 billion euros, down 6.
8%, mainly due to the adoption of IFRS 15 and unfavourable currency effects.
In IFRS 18 and in organic terms, the telecoms operator reported flat revenue from services, with the 1.1% decline in Europe offset by a 4.9% increase in the rest of the world, despite a decline in South Africa.
"We have executed at pace this quarter and have improved the consistency of our commercial performance," said chief executive Read. "Overall, this performance underpins our confidence in our full year guidance."
