TechnipFMC: contract to upgrade site in the Netherlands
(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC announced on Wednesday that it has been awarded a "significant" contract, worth between 75 million and 250 million dollars - by Shell for a petrochemical complex in the Netherlands.
The contract covers engineering, equipment provision and module manufacturing (EPF) for eight ethylene production units.
These furnaces, designed to replace 16 ageing units, will enable the Moerdijk site to reduce its annual CO2 emissions by about 10%, TechnipFMC said.
