TechnipFMC: settles US and Brazilian investigations
(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC announces that it will pay 301.
3 million dollars to the US and Brazilian authorities to settle the anti-corruption investigations in Brazil and that relating to the intermediary, Unaoil, on acts dating back to over ten years ago.
The French oil services company will not be required to have a monitor, but will provide reports on its anti-corruption program to the Brazilian and US authorities for two and three years respectively.
TechnipFMC also wishes to cooperate with a survey of the French National Financial Office (PNF) in connection with previous projects in Equatorial Guinea and Ghana. It will retain a provision of 70 million dollars relating to this survey.
