Rolls Royce: announces acquisition of Servowatch Systems
(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce has announced the acquisition of Servowatch Systems, a provider of integrated automation solutions for commercial vessels and large yachts.
Based in Heybridge, UK, Servowatch will significantly expand Rolls-Royce's automation division.
Andreas Schell, CEO of Rolls-Royce Power Systems, said that it will be the "sophisticated range of automation and integrated bridge systems for government and commercial ships and large yachts is the ideal complement to continue to offer sophisticated total system solutions for marine propulsion systems and the entire ship automation sector".
The commercial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
