LSE Group: BarCap maintains 'overweight' rating

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays Capital (BarCap) reiterates its "overweight" rating on the LSE Group with a target price of 50 pounds after the publication of total Q3 revenues that are up 8%, in line with the consensus.

"FTSE Russell continues to grow at double-digit and LCH net treasury income was up c.50% y/y on higher US rates," the broker said in its report on the stockmarket operator.

While the LSE Group stock has risen by 13% since the beginning of 2018, outperforming the FTSE 100 by around 20%, BarCap believes that "the premium to peers is justified due to superior business mix".
