Shell: Berenberg still says 'hold'
(CercleFinance.com) - Berenberg said on Wednesday that it still rates Shell "hold," with a target price of 2,750 pence/30.

In a note to clients, the German broker pointed out that digitalisation, in particular, offers meaningful potential.
The company suggests that digitalisation programmes have added more than 1 billion dollars annually in value, thanks to higher production from optimising well locations in fields, cost reductions from better inventory management and maintenance scheduling and improved customer margins from greater engagement with clients.
"There remains enormous potential for optimisation at the asset level using machine learning models for different pieces of equipment to enhance performance," Berenberg added after visiting Shell's technology centre in Amsterdam.
