ITV: CFO Ian Griffiths to retire
(CercleFinance.com) - ITV's Chief Financial Officer Ian Griffiths will retire in the next 12 months after spending 10 years with the British commercial broadcaster, the company said on Wednesday.
Griffiths - who started his career in 1988 with Ernst & Young before moving to the media group EMAP in 1994 - joined ITV in September 2008 as Group Finance Director.
Since then, he has regularly been voted one of the top European CFOs.
In 2017, Griffiths took on additional responsibilities and was appointed Group Chief Operating Officer.
A search for a successor has been initiated and Griffiths will continue with his responsibilities until a new CFO has been found, ITV said.
ITV shares are currently down 2.8% in London after this announcement this morning.
