Kingfisher: names former The Body Shop CEO on board
(CercleFinance.com) - UK-based home improvement retailer Kingfisher has said that it has appointed Sophie Gasperment, the former chief executive of cosmetics maker The Body Shop, to its board of directors.
Beyond her role at The Body Shop, Sophie Gasperment has also held a number of key senior management positions at L'Oréal, including managing director of L'Oréal UK & Ireland, Kingfisher said.
Since 2010, she served as a non-executive director of French hospitality group AccorHotels.
Kingfisher shares are currently up 2% in London after this news.
