The British DIY giant has recorded a 0.9% increase in pre-tax income to 440 million pounds, 14 million pounds above the consensus, which was expecting this to fall.
While EPS fell by 4.4% to 13 pence, revenues rose by 4.5% y-o-y to just over six billion pounds (-1.3% at current exchange rates), particularly with strong growth in Poland.
