Burberry: CFO poached from McLaren
(CercleFinance.com) - Burberry announced on Wednesday that it has appointed its new chief financial officer from British luxury carmaker McLaren Group.
Kate Ferry is due to join the company's teams by September, replacing Julie Brown who will leave her post in April after over six years with the company.
Prior to joining McLaren, she was CFO of phone company TalkTalk between 2017 and 2021. She also sits on the board of the bakery chain Greggs.
At Burberry, she will be tasked with helping chief executive Jonathan Akeroyd continue the recent turnaround at the British luxury house.
