Intertek: buys UK cyber security firm
(CercleFinance.com) - Britain's Intertek Group said on Thursday that it has agreed to buy NTA, a cyber security services provider based in the UK and Malaysia, to reinforce its presence on a market that is growing rapidly.
The acquisition of NTA will build Intertek's presence in the UK security assurance and certification space, one of the largest cyber security markets in the world, the British inspections group said.
Established in 1996, NTA employs 48 people across the UK and Malaysia and generated revenues of about 3.2 million pounds last year.
