BT: to roll out network for Fiat Chrysler
(CercleFinance.com) - The British incumbent operator BT today announced that it will deploy a new software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in Europe.
The new SD-WAN will provide the automotive company with an agile network optimised for the cloud. FCA will be able to deliver an optimal user experience on devices and machines across 95 locations, including 11 manufacturing plants.
The solution will be deployed on a hybrid infrastructure offering the company a choice of connectivity suitable for each application.
