AstraZeneca: encouraging results in breast cancer drug
(CercleFinance.com) - AstraZeneca has announced that its Phase II trial Destiny-Breast 01 shows "sustained efficacy" of Enhertu as a treatment for breast cancer.
Further encouraging data from another Phase I trial, Serena, supports AZD9833 as a treatment for breast cancer.
The data will be presented in detail at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2020 (SABCS), which will be held virtually from 8-11 December this year.
José Baselga, Executive Vice President of Oncology R&D, said that these results should lead to progress towards the generation of promising new drugs.
