AstraZeneca: partnership with Iqvia for Covid vaccine
(CercleFinance.com) - Iqvia, an American specialist in clinical research for the healthcare sector, announced on Tuesday that it has signed a collaboration agreement with AstraZeneca to accelerate the development of the pharmaceutical group's Covid-19 vaccine project.
Iqvia says that it wants to advance the clinical studies currently being conducted on the vaccine in the United States by recruiting participants as from this summer.
According to Iqvia, the partnership is part of the "Warp Speed" operation launched by the US government to promote the discovery and manufacture of diagnostic tools, vaccines and treatments against Covid.
