2% in London today after the UK pharmaceutical group presented Phase III results of the "Kronos" study for its triple PT010 combination in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The pharmaceutical group explains that its therapy has demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in eight out of the nine key lung function parameters, with no unexpected signals in terms of safety or tolerability.
The results of the study will be presented at a future medical congress. AstraZeneca expects to make regulatory submissions to Japan and China in the second half, followed by potential submissions in the US and Europe in 2019.
