bp: signs gas supply deal with China's ENN
(CercleFinance.com) - bp said it has signed a gas supply agreement with China's ENN to support the growing energy needs of the southern Guangdong region.
Under the terms of the deal, the British oil group will provide the privately owned energy company with 300,000 tonnes of pipeline gas re-gasified from LNG p.a. for two years from 1 January 2021 in Guangdong.
The natural gas market is currently boosted by China, where the country's LNG imports represent the biggest increase in consumption for a single country.
