BP: ahead in asset disposal program
(CercleFinance.com) - BP believes that its asset disposal program of 10 billion dollars will be largely completed by the end of 2019, a year ahead of schedule.
The British oil and gas major has sold high-value assets in Alaska in August over the past few months.
The group adds that it will therefore book a depreciation charge of 2 billion to 3 billion dollars after tax in its Q3 2019 accounts.
