Pearson: Goldman Sachs slightly cuts its stake
(CercleFinance.com) - US investment bank Goldman Sachs has cut its stake in Pearson, sending the shares of the British publishing group slightly down in London this morning.
Goldman Sachs reported a 6.62% share stake in the group as of 23 November, according to a regulatory filing. This is down from the 6.72% stake that the bank reported in a previous notification.
Even so, at this level, Goldman Sachs is still one of Pearson's main shareholders, along with Schroder Investment and Silchester International.
Pearson shares are currently down 0.2%.
