Morrisons: wholesale supply deal with McColl's.
(CercleFinance.com) - Morrisons will become the main wholesale supplier of grocery retailer McColl's, the British supermarket chain said on Tuesday.
As from January 2018, Morrisons will start supplying Safeway products and national brands to 1,300 McColl's convenience stores and 350 newsagents across the UK.
By the end of 2018, Morrisons expects total annualised wholesale sales to partners to exceed 700 million pounds, including tobacco, before reaching over 1 billion pounds in due course.
The McColl initiative announced today will make initially contribute to earnings in 2018/2019, which will increase thereafter, the company said.
