BAE Systems: new night vision sensor
(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has unveiled its “Hawkeye” HWK1411 ultra-low-light image sensor offering state-of-the-art night vision capabilities: it has reduced size, weight and power.
The HWK1411 is the first low-light Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) sensor to capture images in overcast starlit conditions.
The HWK1411 enables the military market to move digital, paving the way to next generation systems for the future, the group said.
