Schroders: shares up after broker upgrade.
(CercleFinance.com) - Shares of asset manager Schroders are up on Monday, after RBC Capital Markets upgraded the stock, seeing an "attractive entry point" after the stock's recent underperformance.
This morning the Canadian broker upgraded Schroders from "sector perform" to "outperform," with an increased target price of 3,400 pence from 3,300 pence.
Before Schroders reports its first-half results on 27 July, RBC says the group's underlying business is in "good shape" and that cost control will "likely surprise on the upside."
Schroders shares were up 2.2% at 3,227 pence in early trading today.
