Diageo: ex-Xerox CEO appointment to board delayed
(CercleFinance.com) - British spirits maker Diageo said on Tuesday that the appointment of former Xerox CEO Ursula Burns to its board will be delayed.
Ursula Burns - who has chaired Veon's supervisory board since July 2017 - has been chosen to become the executive chair for the mobile telecommunications group on an interim basis, the company said.
In July 2017 Diageo said that Ursula Burns would be appointed as a non-executive director, effective from April 2018.
