Dassault Aviation: UBS still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS maintains its buy ratubg on the Dassault Aviation stock with a target price of E200 after the group published its 2022 results.

Sales rose by 7%, thanks to the defence business, with deliveries of Rafale (14) and Falcon (32) aircraft announced at the beginning of January. Adjusted EBIT increased 23%, probably due to higher margin modernisation work with India and Qatar.

2022 IFRS consolidated net profit reached 716 million euros compared to 605 million euros in 2021. Thales' contribution to the Group's net income is 275 million euros compared to 266 million euros in 2021.

"The Guidance for 2023 is to deliver 15 Rafale and 35 Falcon. Net sales will be down compared to 2022", said Éric Trappier, Dassault Aviation's Chairman and CEO.
