FDJ: H1 sales down 15% at E849m
(CercleFinance.com) - Announced on Wednesday evening, FDJ's H1 results included revenues of 849 million euros, down 15% y-o-y.
Underlying operating income reached 124 million euros (-25%), for net income of 50 million euros (-48%). The group's EBITDA is more or less flat at 174 million euros.
Stéphane Pallez, FDJ's Chairwoman and CEO, said, "The Group's strong mobilisation from the onset of the health crisis and a swiftly implemented cost-cutting plan have limited the impact on the first-half results. From mid-June, we have been recording stakes at a level comparable with that of 2019. Our strategic orientations and the strength of the FDJ model have been confirmed, and we continue to invest to support the development of all our activities."
