FDJ: postpones dividend payment to the end of June
(CercleFinance.com) - In order to encourage significant participation by its new shareholders, French lottery and games operator, La Française des Jeux (FDJ) announces that it will postpone its AGM from 22 April until 18 June this year and will make a total dividend payout of 122 million euros on 30 June.
Regarding an initial estimate of the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic on its business, the group says that it has already taken a certain number of measures to limit the effects of the crisis on its profitability.
Beyond that, FDJ is working to further reduce its cost base, and boasts a "Strong financial position," with "a large amount of cash available in the short term" to face the situation.
