Veralia: 87% of 2019 dividend paid in shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Verallia has announced that shareholders who have opted to receive the payment of the 2019 dividend in shares, at the end of the exercise period of this option (which was open from 17 June to 6 July), represent 86.
93% of the glass packaging manufacturer's share capital.
Thus, 3,813,878 shares will be issued, representing 3.19% of the group's share capital and voting rights, representing a nominal capital increase of 87.49 million euros, with the issue premium amounting to 74.6 million euros.
The capital increase, settlement and delivery of new shares and their admission to the regulated market of Euronext Paris, as well as the payment of the dividend in cash (for 13.14 million euros), will take place on 9 July.
