ALD: H1 net income down 26%
(CercleFinance.com) - ALD has reported H1 2020 net income, group share that is down 26.
3% at 206.8 million euros, with a 3.4 million euro reduction in overheads, which demonstrates the group's ability to control its costs.
The vehicle rental company had a total fleet of 1.76 million vehicles under management worldwide at the end of June 2020, up 3.8% year-on-year, with an operating margin that is up 3.1%.
For 2020, the group targets almost zero (organic) growth of its total fleet and targeted acquisitions, depending on opportunities, as well as a cost/income ratio (excluding income from the sale of used vehicles) of between 50% and 51%.
