SMCP: in talks to takeover De Fursac
(CercleFinance.com) - Contemporary fashion group SMCP has announced that it is in exclusive talks to acquire De Fursac, a deal that "would strengthen its footprint in the fast-growing menswear accessible luxury market, where it is already developing successfully through Sandro men".
The acquisition of the De Fursac Group will have an acretive effect on EPS as from 2019, on a 12-month basis. It is fully financed by debt - all of this financing is already in place.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of September this year, following the information-consultation procedure of the CSE and subject to the agreement of the competent competition authorities and other customary conditions.
