LDC: agrees to acquire Ronsard Group assets
(CercleFinance.com) - The agri-food group LDC announces the signing of an agreement with the cooperative group Eureden to take over the staff and assets of the Ronsard group in Brittany, Aquitaine, Bresse and Ile-de-France.
The Ronsard group, which is N°4 on the French market, is specialised in the slaughtering and processing of poultry, has 775 employees and reported sales of 160 million euros in 2019, LDC said.
The agreement aims to take over seven regional sites and provides for a supply and partnership contract with the cooperative Eureden's breeders. The final agreement is subject to the prior authorisation from the Competition Authority.
