CGG: agreement for multi-client programs in Suriname
(CercleFinance.com) - The geosciences group CGG has announced signing a multi-client agreement between Staatsolie, a state-owned company of Suriname, and a consortium formed of CGG, TGS and BGP, concerning shallow offshore in Suriname.
The agreement enables the consortium to acquire, promote and license multi-client seismic programs in shallow offshore, including new 3D acquisitions and reprocessing of old data.
The new seismic data from the consortium's multi-client programs will be decisive in defining, in relation to the recent discoveries announced on the prolific block 58, its appraisal and potential of this under-explored area.
