CGG: extends imaging center in Oman
(CercleFinance.com) - CGG announces the extension - for three years - of its dedicated processing center for petroleum development Oman (PDO) in Muscat, a new contract to provide terrestrial seismic imaging services covering the years 2022 to 2024.
PDO operates in Oman over an area covering nearly one-third of the country's surface. Within this dedicated center, with CGG it deploys new technologies and imaging sequences to meet the numerous needs in exploration and production.
In Oman, the geosciences group will continue its various initiatives to support the development of local expertise, the promotion of talent and educational initiatives, in close cooperation with the Sultan Qaboos University.
